Our goal is simple: Fully fund every leaf on the tree by October 31. Each leaf represents a real act of care for a mother navigating a high-risk pregnancy, a NICU stay or the transition home. When every leaf is funded, more mothers receive support at a time when their own needs are often pushed aside.

We continue supporting families through the transition home because discharge is a doorway, not the end of the journey.
Why this matters
How your donation works
The NICU journey does not start at birth, and it does not end at discharge. Some mothers are managing bed rest or a high-risk pregnancy. Some are spending long days beside an incubator. Others are adjusting to life at home after weeks or months of uncertainty. The Elaine Symone Foundation supports mothers through all three stages.

About the Elaine Symone Foundation
The Elaine Symone Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing care, comfort and support to mothers before, during and beyond the NICU. Founder Sharise Johnson experienced the NICU journey twice and created the foundation to make sure mothers receive meaningful care while they are caring for their babies.
